OverclockWidget doesn’t seem to work, will try something else. But it seems like it might not have worked (got any suggestion on a decent app to test?)
it does say rooting worked, but unroot says it hasn’t

Okay, after a few attempts and some reboots i can confirm it works on tattoo, just seems to need some attempts :D

Yup :-) i rebooted twice and it worked :) tested with a few apps by now and all seems to be working
FYI, the app does not work on the myTouch Slide. Any chance for that in the future?
It seems to work after twice reboot (tested with app “OverclockWidget”) but Unroot says phone is not rooted…
Which app could I use to test ?
I tested to access boot directory with Astro. It seems to work, I can see the content of this directory : system/media/bootscreen. I don’t remember if I could do that before…
I copy boot2.gif (which is in the directory below), and paste it in my SD Card… I can read it on my computer ;)
@Yuka: Use MarkerAccess to change the market, or dropcap2 or ShootMe to grab screenshots.. ;-)
@aaandroid: If I could have a “myTouch Slide” and play around .. I’m still developing a diagnostic program, and should be done by this weekend. Maybe you can help then :)

I got that on a nexus one running 2.2 frf91, however it finally worked after a couple tries. I am still getting that same message a motorola cliq 1.5. I didn’t really think it would work on that phone anyway, I just was curious about the error. Great work on this by the way!
Works on my Tattoo, no problems install Busybox and Titanium backup that requires root
